Description
This artwork is a contemporary interpretation of Ayat Al-Kursi, written in a refined geometric Kufic style that respects the strength of traditional calligraphy while presenting it through a modern, minimal visual language. The composition is carefully structured, allowing the rhythm of the script to unfold with clarity and balance.
The color palette draws inspiration from the Iris Damascus flower. Soft yet deep tones of violet and muted purple form the base, while shifting light reveals warm undertones of cinnamon, with subtle hints of fig and rosewood. These layered tones create a sense of depth and quiet luminosity, echoing the refined presence of a polished gemstone—an expression of the “Diamond” concept as purity, permanence, and inner value.
The piece carries a calm spiritual weight without visual excess, making it well suited for contemporary spaces while maintaining a strong, dignified presence. Ayat Al-Kursi, known for its meanings of divine sovereignty, protection, and tranquility, is presented here not only as sacred text, but as an invitation to reflection and stillness.
