ESSA ALMOHANNADI           is a Qatari visual artist whose work is inspired by heritage, identity, and contemporary expression. Through  ESSA ART STUDIO , he creates artworks that draw from Arab culture, the natural world, and the visual tradition of Arabic calligraphy. Working primarily with acrylic and oil pastel, ESSA uses Kufic script as a key element within his compositions, integrating it with Quranic verses, texture, and abstraction. His work is also closely connected to the Arabian horse, a recurring subject that reflects the history, culture, and traditions of the region.

In 2025, ESSA joined a program at The Art Students League of New York, where he further developed his understanding of composition, color, and artistic practice. In the same year, he exhibited his work at an international art exhibition in Manama, Bahrain. In addition to painting, ESSA develops a range of collectible art pieces through  ESSA ART STUDIO , including hand-tufted rugs, fine porcelain, and selected artistic editions. These projects allow his work to extend beyond the canvas while maintaining the same attention to craftsmanship and detail. ESSA holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Administration from the United States, bringing both artistic and professional experience to the development of his studio and creative practice.
