Description

Is an artwork inspired by the architectural marvel of Dar Al-Hajar, located in the capital city of Yemen, Sana’a. The artwork features Ayat Al-Kursi, a verse from the Quran, intricately inscribed using the Kufic script.

The Kufic script has been enhanced with artistic touches to lend the work a unique and contemporary feel. Within the artwork, several symbols represent the architecture and design elements of Dar Al-Hajar. The use of white and earthy stone colors symbolizes the buildings, while the black color gives the impression that the verse is engraved on stone.

Additionally, the script itself is designed to evoke the appearance of windows and doors, reflecting the architectural features of Dar Al-Hajar. This thoughtful integration of traditional elements with modern artistic techniques creates a piece that is both deeply rooted in heritage and refreshingly innovative.

This artwork is sold unframed. However, framing is available upon request for an additional fee.
